People - Chiaramello Emma

Emma Chiaramello received the Master degree in Biomedical Engineering and the PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin in 2009 and 2013. From January 2013 she was a research fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (ISIB) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). In September 2013, she joined the Institute of Electronics, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering (IEIIT) of the CNR as post-doctoral research fellow.
Her scientific interests cover the study of the interactions between EMF and biological system, with both computational electromagnetism methods and stochastic approaches based on surrogate modeling.
She is actually involved in the activity of the research Project ELFSTAT - In depth evaluation of children’s exposure to ELF (40 – 800 Hz) magnetic fields and implications for health risk of new technologies (ANSES, Convention de Recherche N° EST-2015/1/202).
