People - Michela Longhi

Michela Longhi received the Master degree in Electronic Engineering in 2014 in the “Università Politecnica delle Marche” of Ancona, Italy. She spent five months in 2014 at the ESA (European Space Agency) in The Netherland, designing Compact Beam Forming Networks. In February 2015, she participated at an experiment concerning the Soft Matter, at the European Synchrotron in Grenoble, the ESRF (European Synchrotron Radiation Facility). From April 2015 she is a research fellow at the CNR Institute of Electronics, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering (CNR-IEIIT).

Her research activity is focused on “Electromagnetic fields (EMF) and Health”. The objective of this activity is the study of the neuromodulation and neurostimulation based on the electromagnetic principles, in particular she is focusing in the transcranial magnetic stimulation of deep brain regions.
