People - Moriconi Stefano

Stefano Moriconi received his Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milano, Italy, in 2012.
In April 2013 he joined the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (ISIB) of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), and since September 2013 he is a research fellow of the Institute of Electronics, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering (IEIIT).
His scientific interests cover digital signal processing and numerical computing for biomedical sciences. His research activity is focused on:
  • analysis of audiological signals with advanced signal processing techniques (e.g. time-frequency analysis, higher order spectral analysis and multiresolution wavelet decomposition);
  • development of models for the objective assessment of perceptual speech quality in hearing-impaired subjects;
  • design of solutions for smart hearing systems.

Stefano Moriconi is author of two papers in peer-reviewed Journals and four communications in International Conferences.
