ICT solutions for the tele-rehabilitation of cognitive and motor disabilities originating from neurological pathologies

The project is carried on in cooperation with other institutions, industries and health service facilities. It is aimed to develop remote motor/cognitive monitoring and rehabilitation services in the context of Stroke and Parkinson’s disease. Important aspects of the research are: the automated assessment of the motor and cognitive impairments, compliant to clinical scales and based on motion analysis; the monitoring of the effectiveness of the rehabilitation therapies based on exergames performed in virtual reality; the automated analysis of the sleep-wake rhythm through non-invasive measurements of physiological signals.
