Elizabeth Verdugo received her PhD degree in electrical engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, Brazil) in 2022. As part of the PhD, she spent one year at Politecnico di Milano as a visiting doctoral researcher working on data processing and modeling of atmospheric effects on terrestrial links. she worked as a research assistant at PUC-Rio in the deployment of experimental setups for wireless communications.
