Alessio Giorgetti received the Ph.D. degree from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA), Pisa, Italy, in 2006. In 2007, he was a visiting scholar at the Centre for Advanced Photonics and Electronics, University of Cambridge, UK. From 2008 to 2020 he was an Assistant Professor at SSSA. From July 2020, he is a Researcher at IEIIT. His research interests include software-defined networking, optical networks, and industrial networks. He is author of more than 100 IEEE publications.
