Dr Punta (IEEE SM’03) received the PhD in Electronic Eng and Computer Sc from Genoa Univ in 1998 and was Visiting Scientist at Tulane Univ in 1998 and 2000. She is in the IEEE-CSS TC on VSS&SMC, IFAC TC 2.5, Board of PhD Eng of Tech Innovation, UniNettuno, and author of more than 100 publications in journals, books, proceedings of conferences and 1 patent. She is Expert Evaluator for MISE and REA-EC, AE for IMA J Math Control Inf, Int J Adapt Control Signal Process, and IEEE Trans Control Syst Technol.
